Community Ministry sponsors a 5K walk along Bear Creek each year as a fundraiser. This year it is both a virtual and live event. The virtual event can be run anytime/anywhere from September 1 through 9. The live event will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023. Onsite registration and check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. at:
MacDonald’s, 5550 W Dartmouth Ave, Denver, CO 80227.
The run and walk begin at 9:00 a.m. You may park in the MacDonald’s parking lot and at the Arc Thrift store (please do not park in the Dartmouth Shopping Center parking).
- Group with the most participants
- Group that raises the most money
- Best team name (selected by a panel of uninvolved judges)
Additional prizes for in-person only:
- Cutest participating dog
- First person to cross the finish line in a variety of age ranges
Registration Costs:
- Children 10 and under are Free!! Bring your whole family!
- Participates ages 11+: $25.00.
- New design adult t-shirt (optional): $5.00

You have the option for this year’s event to be a virtual run/walk. That means you can choose where and when you want to run/walk anytime from September 1-9.
Donations (not registrations) can also be given through Colorado Gives or by mailing checks to Community Ministry. Thanks for your participation!
