Funding and Policies
Community Ministry receives funding in a variety of ways including:
- Individual donations
- Supporting church donations
- Special Events such as Celebration of the Heart, Footsteps 4 Food and Caring by Candlelight and church sponsored events and Colorado Gives Day
- Private or Corporate donations and matching funds
- Grants from Anschutz Foundation, A.V. Hunter Trust, Energy Outreach Colorado, Schlessman Family Foundation, Anschutz Family Foundation, Virginia M Hill Foundation and others.

Community Ministry, a 501(c)3 emergency relief agency, receives TEFAP government supplies administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Community Ministry does not charge a fee to clients for these supplies.
