School supplies are provided for children entering 1st grade through 5th grade that have pre-registered with Community Ministry to receive this benefit.
Pre-registration occurs during July and the supplies are distributed in August.
Parents must provide the child’s birth certificate to register. If children are not living with the parent, the guardian must provide proof of custody.
Each child receives a backpack containing many of the generic school supplies needed.
Supplies are donated by private individuals, supporting churches, community businesses and targeted grants.
