ADOPT A FAMILY
Do you know a family that could use some extra holiday cheer? Nominate a deserving family today to be sponsored by the Amy G Injury Firm for the holiday season.
As part of the firm’s initiative to give back to the community in Aurora and Denver, Amy G Injury Firm is happy to announce its third annual Adopt a Family program. Amy G Injury Firm needs your help to nominate a deserving family who would benefit from some help during the holidays.
Nominations will be accepted until December 15 before the winners are announced the next day on Monday, December 16. To help families and children in the community, consider nominating someone! With your participation, more families and children will have the opportunity to buy family and friends gifts, which is often a costly privilege. To learn how to nominate someone, please click here.

Thanks to all of those who submitted nominations through our website for the Adopt A Family for the Holidays Program sponsored by Amy G Law. We are happy to announce that because of this effort, ten local families were deservedly awarded $500, and seven were provide with $200. Collecting Food, Raising Awareness, Capital Campaign Support
WAY-FM supported Community Ministry’s effort to raise funds to purchase their building at their Community Fair in August 2019 providing music.
WAY-FM helped us on June 15, 2018 by collecting cereal and other non-perishable items at the King Soopers on Coal Mine and Pierce in exchange for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Summer Song Music Festival! 790 pounds valued at over $1500 was collected and is already available to our neighbors at Community Ministry. Congratulations
to the ticket winners, a big thank you to everyone who donated and thanks to Way-FM for sponsoring the benefit collection!
News 4 Denver has regularly featured Community Ministry in stories about hunger in Denver and the agencies that try to address people’s needs when they are in crisis. Joel Hillan has also been a regular emcee for Community Ministry’s annual Celebration of the Heart gala.
