Purpose
Community Ministry partners with Xcel energy and Energy Outreach Colorado to assist residents in paying overdue utility bills.
Requirements for Qualification
- The bill must be in the name of the person requesting assistance
- Your account must be Past Due or you must have received a Cut-Off in order to be eligible for the grant
- Residents must not have received EOC funding from any other agency during the grant cycle October 1 through September 30
- Resident must meet income guidelines
- Resident are encouraged to apply for LEAP if the request comes between October 1 and April 30. You may have LEAP funding and still receive EOC funding. Click here for how to apply for LEAP.

Funding is provided solely through Xcel Energy and Energy Outreach Colorado at specific times throughout the year. Funds are very limited and there is no guarantee of availability.
Frequency
Request can be made only one time during the grant cycle.
How to apply
Step 1: You must fill out the application consent forms linked below (preferrably typed), print them and bring them with you to your appointment.
Step 2: Send an email to [email protected] with the full name of the person as it appears on the bill, phone number and Xcel account number and you will be called to schedule an appointment.
Step 3: Show up for your scheduled appointment!
